Don't look at the colors..lol Thay were at hand when I started the pattern. But I love the style of the hat! Probably the best I've seen in a crocheted stocking hat bar none! Great job Etaria!!!

Nakita is a 5 yr. old Congo African Grey and AshToo is a 1 yr. old part Siamese :)Aren't my babies adorable? By the way, See the afghan that my husband knitted? Isn't he fabulous? Wish you could see the cables better!

So little time!

Mom's Kitchen

This is what I've spent the last week doing! Laying tile and ragging walls. It is looking great if I do say so myself :) Especially for someone who's never laid tile in this manner before.
I'm so jealous! I had to go get the same paint for my living room too.
And Lordy do I want that counter tile!!! Gorgeous!!!
The whole room has an old world tuscany feel to it now. If you knew what it looked like before I started...GEEZ!

Maybe now I can get back to crocheting for a bit. The angel I'm designing is coming along. One last item to add and I think I'll have it finished.

I joined a Crochet Partner's Ornament Exchange today. Can't wait to get started! I'll add more about this later.

I absolutely have to go to work today or our church will be without bulletins this Sunday. NOT A GOOD THING! So I'll have to pick this up later :)

DONE, I'm Done!!!! yea!!!!
And it only took three days to complete. So much for free form..never got there, but it is beautiful! It measures 13 1/2 x 9 inches oval. I really have to learn to write patterns! Maybe someone will see something they like and give me a few tips on how to do that so I can post patterns along with the pics.

I'm heading to Kansas tomorrow to paint and tile my mother's house. I'm not looking forward to it. Ragging an entire house and tiling the kitchen and bath is not alot of fun unless it's your own house of course but even worse than that is my family! They give dysfunctional familes a bad name!!! Which is why I moved to another state... definately not far enough, maybe China would work..lol

I wonder if anyone is really reading this? I think my life is interesting but who likes a blow by blow account of someone elses?

Oh what a tangled web I tread!

I'm new at Blogging so try to bear up. Any help or advice would be nice but probably useless. I seem to have developed the bad habit of having to learn the hard way and if all else fails I might read the directions! But hey, the benefit of your wisdom, vast and hard won experience can't hurt can it?

My current project is an oval free form floral doily. what a mouthful! Hopefully I'll get some pics up soon.

I love creating my own patterns but have never developed the knack for writting out the patterns... so tedious! So if anyone can give me some hints and tips on this I PROMISE ON PAIN OF PURLING 10,000 STICHES TO READ THEM :) (you have no idea how much I hate Purls. Don't ask why, it just seems to make my fingers work in ways they weren't meant to)
